Navras - a Hindi word which, broken down, means nine ("nava") emotional states ("rasa") that are exhibited during music, drama, and the visual arts, the experience of which bring about a state of transcendental bliss. The nine different states are as follows: The lyrics from the song "Navras" are taken from the Upanisads, a set of documents written in sanskrit used in the Hindu religion. The lyrics in the chorus are directly from Don Davis' original version. There are also extra varying lyrics in verses of the song which I am unfamiliar with and have yet been able to find online.
